The key difference aesthetically between the Alcatel 4038 IP telephone the 4028 is the number of soft keys – 10 vs. 6 respectively. The Alcatel 4038 phone has a built-in display panel that provides four levels of greyscale viewing at 100×160-pixel screen resolution and also includes an integrated keyboard for easy contact (speed dial) location.
