One aspherical element and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements in a precision optical design suppress aberration throughout the zoom range, including chromatic aberration that can be an issue at super-telephoto focal lengths. Excellent sharpness and rendering are achieved at all zoom settings, throughout the image area. Gorgeous telephoto G Lens bokeh is another advantage.
Compact, mobile 5x super-telephoto zoom
Although it offers a big 5x zoom range, this compact lens weighs in at just 625 grams, enhancing the mobility of the entire camera system. 70-350mm (105-525mm equiv.) is an ideal range for a wide spectrum of subjects.
